Match Overview

A truly dominant performance from Radcliffe Town today, resulting in an emphatic 12-1 victory over Haslingden. From the first whistle, the girls controlled the tempo of the game, maintaining possession beautifully and demonstrating exactly what we have been working on in recent weeks. It was a comprehensive display where every player contributed to an outstanding team victory.

Key Moments

The sheer volume and quality of the goals were a joy to watch. Evie T and Tanushri were both ruthless in the final third, each taking home the match ball with brilliant hat-tricks. Evie G added a fantastic brace, whilst Kaitlyn, Ella, Olivia, and Izzy all found the back of the net, highlighting just how dangerous we are across the entire pitch. The most impressive aspect was the unselfish build-up play and the fluid passing sequences that carved open the opposition's defence to create these scoring opportunities.

Looking Ahead

We will look to carry this incredible momentum, confidence, and goalscoring form into our next fixture. At training this week, we will focus on maintaining these sky-high standards, refining our ball retention, and ensuring we keep building on the fantastic team chemistry that was on full display today.

From the Touchline

"I am absolutely delighted with the attitude, work rate, and tactical discipline shown today. The biggest positive to take away as a coach is seeing the squad put our training ground routines directly into practice in a real-match scenario. The movement off the ball was excellent, and the finishing was incredibly clinical. A massive well done to the entire squad for executing the game plan perfectly and playing some truly great football."
